Major Contributors

With a few exceptions listed below, Mason was written by Gregory Kiesel, including the simulation kernel, the optimizers, the translators (PADS and TinyCAD), PrimCalc, the plotting tool, the console program, and the initial set of primitive models. This has been a hobby project for several years consisting of a lot of nights and weekends. Gregory Kiesel is a Research Engineer for the Georgia Tech Research Institute.

The XML parser (TinyXML) used in Mason was written by Lee Thomason: the web page is http://sourceforge.net/projects/tinyxml/. TinyXML is used with no modifications.

The math parser (muParser) used in Mason was written by Ingo Berg: the web page is http://muparser.sourceforge.net/. muParser is used with very minor modifications- Kiesel added support for complex numbers and added some EM specific functionality.

TinyCAD has many contributors: their web page is http://tinycad.sourceforge.net. TinyCAD is used with very minor modifications- Kiesel added a toolbar to control the Mason simulation.
